I’ve always enjoyed the beautiful ceramic roosters or chickens in a kitchen décor. I wanted to bring that theme into this quilt and consider the importance of gathering our families at meal times. Our children grow up too fast. This design symbolizes the protection and love our children feel when we gather them together and wrap our wings around them.
